FranCenter provides supplemental coaching services for Title I kindergarten through high school students and their parents, and makes available consultative services to teachers who have Title I students in their classroom.
Title I academic coaching services include assisting students with personal and social development, identifying and addressing family factors that may negatively impact educational progress, evaluate learning problems in reading and math, identify and address issues related to low academics self-esteem, and address other related concerns identified by the staff. Title I coach assumes the primary responsibility for helping students with executive function difficulties. FranCenter’s academic coach provides parental support and collaborates with the classroom teacher to insure the needs of the Title I students are being accommodated in the regular classroom. The FranCenter’s goal is to develop a supportive relationship to insure student success.
