  Thinking

Deficient thinking and reasoning can be, and often is, programmed. What factors influence and condition our thinking?

This workshop will explore how media - various forms of communication such as advertising, news commentary, talk shows, certain types of musical recordings, movies, and video games, shapes our thinking.

These forms of "mental conditioning" are very persuasive and can have a great impact on us particularly on our children, families and schools. They can and often do create shallow, simplistic, deficient reasoning leading to a distorted value system.

Learn how parents and teachers can provide experiences that influence moral character development by promoting critical thinking and instilling values of personal responsibility.
