FranCenter provides staff, teacher training, and parent education. All programs are personalized to meet the needs and requirements of each educational facility. FranCenter offers free consultations and will prepare a proposal and budget outlining the services requested.
FranCenter provides on-site assistance to staff through staff development, workshops and consultation with the goal of supporting teachers as they address the needs of the individual learner in the classroom. In addition, academic support on a one-to-one basis or in a small group setting is provided. Upon the request of parents and/or teachers, students requiring comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations will be assessed using current psychological and educational testing instruments. Complete reporting including both results and recommendations and strategies for student, parents and teachers is provided.
Individual and group counseling is made available to students on an on-going basis. Social skill development groups that address such concerns as self-concept, self-esteem, communication, and problem solving are provided to classes from third through eighth grade.
Community based referral networks are developed to assist students, parents, and teachers when additional services are required.
