Learn what hands-on science is and how to get students actively involved in project-based learning. The purpose of this workshop is to help elementary teachers transform the traditional science curriculum into project-based lessons that require students to use critical and creative thinking skills in order to solve problems under investigation.
Learn how to:
Use the hands-on approach rather then relying on the text book and lecture;
Help students learn through open-ended science experiences;
Develop science concepts through computer-based activities.

Choose from seventy-five minutes, two hour or half day workshop format.
