  Relationship of Diet to Hyperactive and Maladaptive Behavior in Students

Can the ingestion of certain foods or substances cause hyperactivity and maladaptive behavior in children? We all know the effects of alcohol on the mind and body and what effect certain drugs have on humans. Although a direct cause and effect relationship has not been established regarding the ingestion of certain foods and behavior, much more is now known. Our speaker will briefly review research in this area and offer suggestions for both home and school.
